3. Chrome Extension Storage
The SafePlay Chrome extension uses extension storage, rather than ordinary website cookies, to:
- Keep the revocable device credential created when you link the extension
- Cache filter preferences
- Remember extension settings
This information stays in the extension's protected storage. The device credential is sent to SafePlay when the extension calls SafePlay so the service can verify the linked device. SafePlay does not use extension storage for advertising.
4. Third-Party Technologies
Features you choose to use may involve third-party services that manage their own cookies or storage under their policies:
- YouTube and Google: Embedded playback, search, and related YouTube features
- Payment providers: Checkout, subscription management, payment security, and fraud prevention
SafePlay does not currently use advertising cookies or Google Analytics cookies on trysafeplay.com.
